Who We Are
numenvia is a boutique travel brand operated by Into Tuscany, LLC (“numenvia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We care about your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at https://numenvia.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
For the purposes of this policy, the party responsible for your personal information (the data controller) is:
numenvia, a brand of Into Tuscany, LLC
2662 Laurel Hill Drive
Eugene, OR 97403, USA
Email: giuditta [at] numenvia.com
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you contact us, request information about a tour, or subscribe to our newsletter, you may provide details such as your name and email address, along with anything you choose to include in your message. We only ask for what we need to respond to you and provide our services.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, when you visit the Site we automatically receive certain technical information from your browser and device, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages, and how you navigate the Site. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies & Analytics below).
Instagram Messages, Comments & Mentions
When you send us a Direct Message on Instagram, or comment on, @mention, or tag our Instagram account (@numenvia) in a post, comment, or story, we receive and store the content of your message, comment, or mention, together with your Instagram username and display name and the time it was sent. We use this information solely so that our team can read and respond to you and keep a record of our conversation. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We retain this information for 36 months after our last contact with you, and then delete it. You can request access to, or deletion of, this data at any time by contacting us at giuditta [at] numenvia.com.
If your Direct Message includes an attachment — a photo, video, audio clip, or document — we save a copy of that file on our own servers so that our team can view it and respond to you. We keep these attachments for up to 90 days and then delete them automatically and permanently; this is a shorter period than the message record itself, which we retain as described above. If you delete a message on Instagram, we delete our stored copy of any media it contained immediately. You can also ask us to delete your messages and their attachments at any time by emailing giuditta [at] numenvia.com.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiries and provide the information or services you request;
- send you our newsletter and updates, where you have asked to receive them;
- operate, maintain, and improve the Site and understand how it is used; and
- comply with our legal obligations and protect our rights and the safety of others.
We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell your personal information.
Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for two main purposes: to make the Site work properly (functional cookies), and to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it (statistics cookies).
For website statistics we use Google Analytics, configured in a privacy-friendly way: IP addresses are anonymized, and we have disabled data sharing with Google for other purposes. We honor browser “Do Not Track” signals.
In-app visit measurement. Some links we share on social media — for example, in Instagram messages or posts — open inside the Instagram or Facebook in-app browser, where ordinary website analytics cannot measure visits. For those specific links we use a first-party measurement pixel to count page views and basic engagement (such as time spent on the page). This measurement is performed on our behalf by Cloudflare, Inc. through our infrastructure domain numenvia-media.com. From your network connection it derives an approximate location (country and city) and a per-day pseudonymous identifier — a one-way hashed value derived from your IP address and browser. We do not store your raw IP address, and this identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any account. We retain this data for up to 90 days, and we honor browser “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for this measurement.
When you first visit the Site, we present a cookie notice so you can accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can review the technologies we use and change your choices at any time on our Opt-out Preferences page, or by adjusting your browser settings.
How We Share Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We use trusted third parties to help us run the Site and communicate with you — for example, our website host, email/newsletter delivery, and analytics providers. They may process your information only on our behalf and only to provide these services.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of numenvia, our guests, or others.
- Business transfers. If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Your Choices & Rights
You have choices about your personal information:
- Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us.
- Cookies. You can manage non-essential cookies through our Opt-out Preferences page or your browser.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or other state privacy laws — including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at giuditta [at] numenvia.com; we will verify your request before acting on it, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, to respond to your inquiry, to send you our newsletter while you remain subscribed, or as required to meet legal obligations — after which we delete or anonymize it.
International Visitors
The Site is hosted on servers in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, including the use of industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) for data in transit. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to Other Websites
Our Site may contain links to websites we do not operate. This Privacy Policy applies only to numenvia’s Site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
