Terms and Conditions

Welcome to our small group tours to Italy. The following Terms and Conditions will apply to your trip, Return to Basilicata, October 20–26, 2026.

It is your responsibility to read and understand these Terms and Conditions and how they might affect your trip. If you have any questions, please reach out to giuditta@numenvia.com. We are happy to clarify any doubts you might have.

This agreement supersedes all previous oral and written communications and agreements between the parties and applies to all tours organized by numenvia and sold on this website.

1. Introduction

Into Tuscany LLC d/b/a numenvia (‘numenvia’) is a limited liability company registered in the State of Oregon, located at 2662 Laurel Hill Dr. Eugene, OR, 97403.

By purchasing a tour from numenvia, you, the Participant, automatically accept and agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined in this document.

2. Tour Pricing and Details

  1. Due to the boutique nature of our tours, numenvia reserves the right to add, withdraw, substitute, and/or vary outings, experiences, prices, and departure times for all tours without prior notice. However, we will make reasonable efforts to maintain arrangements as advertised on the website.
  2. All tour prices are provided on a per-person basis unless otherwise stated.
  3. Prices do not include personal expenses or travel insurance. For any questions regarding what is included in the tour price, please contact giuditta@numenvia.com.

3. Requirements to Participate in Our Tours

  1. Participants acknowledge and agree that they participate in the tour at their own risk. numenvia does not include personal insurance in its services and highly recommends that participants purchase their own travel insurance. A list of recommended travel insurance companies will be provided once the tour is booked.
  2. Participants will be required to agree to and sign a waiver before the tour starts. Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of the participant’s reservation without refund or credit.
  3. We strive to make our trips accessible to as many people as possible and will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, medical conditions, and other participants’ needs. By joining our trip, you agree to communicate any requirements before booking so we can determine if we can accommodate your needs.

In case of special dietary requirements, participants must communicate these at the time of booking. We will make every reasonable effort to meet dietary requirements; however, given the nature of the tour, we cannot guarantee that all requirements will be met.

By joining our trips, you also affirm that you know of no physical or mental condition that would create a hazard for yourself or others, or affect other participants’ enjoyment of the trip.

Participating in our tours requires a minimum level of fitness and mobility, including the ability to walk uphill or climb stairs. numenvia will not be liable for the personal safety of the participant, for the safety of personal items, or for unforeseen events and incidents beyond our control, including (but not limited to) accidents, thefts, and illnesses during the tour. Each participant is fully responsible for their personal health, medical needs, and safety.

4. Your Travel Plans

  1. We recommend not booking flights until your trip has been confirmed in writing by us. We cannot compensate for travel arrangements booked before the trip has been confirmed.
  2. All time spent at the destination outside of the tour start and end dates is at your own expense. If you arrive late at the designated check-in time, you will have to join the group at your own expense.
  3. The Italian government requires that your passport have a minimum of 3 months’ validity at the time of departure from Italy. It is your responsibility to check your passport and renew it if necessary. We are not able to provide any refund if your access to Italy is denied.

5. Booking and Terms of Payment

  1. The participant is responsible for providing accurate personal information during the booking process.
  2. Payments can be made securely via credit card on our website or by check.
  3. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is due at the time of booking to confirm your spot. The remaining balance of $2,900 (double occupancy) or $3,500 (single occupancy) is due no later than 90 days before the tour starts (July 22, 2026).

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing to giuditta@numenvia.com.

The $1,000 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • 90+ days before departure (before July 22, 2026) — Any balance paid beyond the deposit will be fully refunded.
  • 60–89 days before departure (July 23 – Aug 20, 2026) — 50% of all payments made above the $1,000 deposit will be refunded.
  • 30–59 days before departure (Aug 21 – Sep 19, 2026) — 25% of all payments made above the $1,000 deposit will be refunded.
  • Less than 30 days before departure (after Sep 20, 2026) — No refund will be issued. However, you may transfer your reservation to another person, subject to approval and any applicable costs.

numenvia strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance, including trip cancellation coverage, at the time of booking.

d. No-shows or early departures

We cannot issue refunds or credits for failure to attend or complete the tour, or for arriving late or leaving early.

e. Unused services

We do not provide refunds for any portion of the trip not used, including (but not limited to) meals, activities, or other services.

f. Tour cancellation by numenvia

If the tour is canceled by numenvia, all payments will be fully refunded.

If the tour is rescheduled, you may choose to apply any payments made toward the new tour dates.
