Guide Debora Bresciani in the medieval streets of Tuscany

Debora Bresciani

Why we love this place

My guests love Debora. She's more than a guide--she becomes a member of the group. The members of each tour use a Whatsapp group to share reflections, pictures and videos. Debora is one of the most active participants.

— Giuditta

Debora Bresciani is a licensed guide, born, raised and living in Arezzo — the ancient Etruscan city in eastern Tuscany. She founded Travel With Debora and has been guiding since 2017, in Italian, English and German.

Debora’s territory spans the four valleys of the Province of Arezzo — the Casentino, the Valdarno, the Valtiberina and the Valdichiana — as well as Cortona, Montepulciano, Val d’Orcia and Florence. Her knowledge comes from a lifetime of living in and loving this place.

Debora served as the local guide for our Val d’Orcia tour — meeting the group at Florence’s Santa Maria Novella station and guiding them through Pienza, Montepulciano, Cortona, Bagno Vignoni and the hidden hilltop villages of the Val d’Orcia. She brought the region to life through its art, its food and, most of all, through the warmth she brings to every encounter.

Debora also guides private tours in Arezzo — home to Piero della Francesca’s Legend of the True Cross, Giorgio Vasari’s birthplace, Europe’s largest antiques fair, and the medieval Saracen Joust.
